Church! It can be a place of tight knit community and loving support. It can also be a place of frustration and pain. So who really needs it? Turns out every Christian needs the church. As difficult as church life can be, it is plan A for how Jesus matures Christians into fully formed disciples (and there is no Plan B). The growth experienced in church, through good times and bad, is akin to the growth experienced in a family except you never outgrow it (Hebrews 10:24,25). Join us this summer as we look at the book of 1 Timothy (and some of 2 Timothy) to better understand how one is to function in the “household of God” (1 Timothy 3:15).
