Sermon Recordings

Each week we do clear Bible teaching in our Sunday morning services and post them here by Monday. Share widely, and if you’re able, come experience them in person!

Some of Jesus’ last words to his disciples - “the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be my witnesses . . .” (Acts 1:8). Being a witness is as normal for a Christ follower as praying, singing, worshipping, and all those other Christian practices we regularly participate in. Problem with the practice of witness is that we must do it with people who don’t yet follow Jesus. It can be intimidating and at times downright embarrassing. Some of this comes from false notions about evangelism handed down to us by the church. It can also stem from an unhealthy fear of others or merely a lack of understanding about what being a Christian witness really is.

Join us for the three Sundays after Christmas as we look at some key passages in the New Testament that speak to this idea of being a witness in our world. It’s likely that the Bible’s version of being a witness is more doable and life giving than you ever imagined.
